Fan meets Dunn
This piece of fan mail exemplifies how gaining personal insight to a poet can enhance the experience of reading his or her work. Here, Dorothy says "I would imagine that sometimes meeting the originator of beloved work diminishes or alters the experience of the work in some way, but in this case you and your poetry evoked the same feelings..." The email goes on to tell Dunn how inspiring his poetry is and how Dunn and his words make Dorothy want more out of life. We agree!
